Licencing

An unlicensed Language Engine gives you access to most of the data contained in it, but not all - to access the remainder, you need to buy a licence. However, the unlicensed copy still shows you all the things that the Language Engine can do (it just doesn't do it on all the data). All three Language Engines are alike in this respect. In addition:

• The Language Engine for Grammar allows 7 days for evaluation; the Language Engine HearNow Phrasebooks allow 15 minutes. The Language Engine for Pronunciation has no time limit on evaluation.
• The Language Engine for Pronunciation will not print certificates (see right) unless it's licensed. The Language Engine HearNow Phrasebooks will not print any data unless licensed.

A licence permits you to use the product for private enjoyment and instruction on any computer of which you are the primary user. The licence for the Language Engine for Pronunciation is for six months, and renewable; the licences for the Language Engines for Grammar and the Language Engine Phrasebooks are without limit of time.

Free licence

A licensed copy of the Language Engine for Pronunciation prints you a certificate when you master all the material on one chart. THIS CERTIFICATE BUYS YOU A FREE LICENCE - just send this form. You need never pay for the Language Engine again!

• Your free licence can be for any Language Engine product - pronunciation, grammar or phrasebook.
• The Reference Vowels certificate is also valid.
• You must present a certificate within seven days of the date shown on it.
• The certificate for a given language and chart can be used only once; getting the certificate again doesn't count.
• A certificate can also be used to buy Vowel Chart Maker.
